Ah, I remember those days. Babies and old people have one thing in common --they have to gum their food. A fun to read imaginative poem. One thing I would do: Change finger paint to food paint. I guess that would mess up the meter.LOL

I don't know how it tastes, but I know what pureed nursing home food looks like. I think the cooks add food color to make it look--better.

hah, this is clever. I like the comparison in this instance between the two ends of the age spectrum. I love the last line. very nice. There is a typo in your notes " day" instead of "say" fyi. Nicely done. God blesses
