Reconciliation is an act of desperate rivers of hope raging in the heart, the spirit carries the banner of hope into the different sides of giving and rest to the living who are weary of doubt. Thomas pained deeply in these rivers of raging torment, only to find the blood of forgiveness where knowledge lies with open arms to the needy yearning for the awesome dream of love. Reconciled with the manner of leading off with the mistakes of the day only to find that they are the real reconciliation of war against doubt.From dusty aching thoughts comes the miracle of pierced dreams. perhaps ..."hope"....there really is something as beautiful as Jesus Love...something so strong nothing is powerful on absolute truth, that can not lie. Thomas was jealous....He felt not as "important...ah not as "much" loved....because he had not yet seen Him.....of course as all His teachings the meanings are meant for generations evermore. Hi Sandra...-smile-...thanks. but I think part of what you say is true. but we know from recorded history that He allows horrible sometimes. ah...from the begining....Job and even before, to David and the price of his sin. yes..."spiritually" He has made provision through Christ Jesus...but consequence still plays out. ...or once we "knew" Christ we would no longer age and fall asleep. He spoke it...and so it is. the wages of sin are death...if there were another way surely He would not have required so much from Jesus. All Moses did...remember...? and yet though we know he was loved by God , honored...he was only allowed to look at the promised land.
there is "real" cause and effect in our choices. thanks again...love Michael

Once found, a soldier for Christ is born. I would be interested to know if my interpretation is close to what your poem was written to convey? I enjoyed the work.

He says by Him we were known before our Mother's womb.
I sensed His presence long before I was sure. As I believe all life does.
well to me what this is about..."them" who "Know" and cling to that faith. Even as their surrounding sojourn is a mind-field of stumbling block. Them who solider on even as the enemy declares victory, laughing at them as though they were Noah. Them whom by this worlds standard are fools for believing in not yet seen.
its about the "journey of each man with His inner struggle to tame the devil that lays claim to his left behind side.
once a very long time ago, I had a conversation with a man a barely knew. We talked intimately about God and us. finally he asked me Michael...why do you believe you'll go to heaven...?
and I thought about it...and answered because I'm saved.
he then said something that became part of me...he said...saved from what...?
and he just left it like that....
the answer came later...ourselves. and the power of evils influence. but it is a daily war...believe it.
