Most people wouldn't agree, but a cat is more deadly than a lone dog any day. Now TWO dogs is a different story - if they can catch the cat, they will stretch it between them - teamwork kill.

This is funny (and just a wee bit sad for the dog, but hey, it shouldn't have troubled the cat)! Nicely done. Good luck.

Thank you. Ma cat didn't like for anyone to infringe on her territory. The dog didn't belong on our farm so she sent him home. Cats are extremely vicious in any kind of a fight,

I get it. Cats are territorial too. And an outdoor cat has some pretty serious territory - sometimes covering some large areas, even in the city. :)

Very short as it should be just fifty words and humorous, well it is all of those things and I think a well written piece you have all the information and action to prove it. Snozzer certainly wont be back but I hope you will.

Thank you. I don't remember ever seeing your handle before; are you someone new? I like the Kooky Clown. It is original and cute. Thank you for the six stars; Old Ma cat deserves them even if I don't.

Yes I am new and written some rhymes and one about my cats which you might like to view. Look up my profile to get a taste of what I am about.

Oh, I love your Ma Cat. She certainly doesn't take anything off the dog.
It's funny how a very determined small pet, well armed with claws, can set the larger canines straight!
Love your cute story,
Rhonda

Thank you. I never saw any dog get the best of Old Ma cat. She never bothered our dog unless he went down by the barn. She was quite a character.

This was cute and delightful reading. It definitely fits the parameters required. Your notation was a rewarding one of respect for Old Ma. I can vividly picture her. Your picture choice was perfect. Thank you and good luck.

Brilliant!

I'm a doggy person but I love all animals, especially those with real character. Old ma cat seemed like she really ruled the roost!

So sad when they're gone but you can still have a giggle at the memories . . . and enter contests with them too!

Great entry . . . I wish you luck with it : )

Hi there,

A very well written little piece this. It is amusing to see a dog get its comeuppance by the paw of a feline adversary.

best of luck for the competition.
