"It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." Alfred Lord Tennyson. If it is true friendship it will either grow into a loving relationship or stand the test it goes through. I would rather jump and not make it than live with "what if". Have a great day. God bless.

Hi, Missy
= Depends, I suspect, on whether you've been on the receiving end.
= Having been married to a cheater the first time around, nothing is worth losing your home over--unless it isn't working.
= Then you either fix it or part company, but don't mess around while still married--no good comes from it, my friend. (*<*)
= This is an excellent poem/artwork on the subject, with food for thought.
= Good work.

Yep, the heart and mind don't always work together and the heart wants something more than it should. I guess in my case, that is how I ended up with my wife, the love of life. But often it doesn't work out to be the best.
Take care of you!

This is such a tough one as you know that person their good and bad points already.
Your poem is both beautifully written with a lovely flow. It is also beautifully presented.

The paradox of the heart captured
in your alluring thoughts that
permeate your artistic writing,
what does one do when there is
the friend, should one dare go
all in and reach for that touch, that
kiss upon the lips, And so one goes
all in, and there is the meshing of
lover and friend; Perfection.
Well done

This is beautifully worded and presented. Love that you've split the wording to both edges, different thoughts revealed on either side. The final stanza is very good. Thank you for sharing.
Bless you

You have a very good idea here. Some years ago I fell madly in love with her and she with me. Eventually I realised that though I still loved her I didn't like her very much. Does that strike you as odd? There might be a poem in there somewhere.
