Your title about the nut had me a bit on edge until I realized it was a tombstone contest entry. Whew! What a relief, LOL!

"Here lies the body of Sammy Joe
Ate peanuts fast instead of slow
Ate one too fast, choked and died
Squirrels ate the rest by his side"

Ha!
If squirrels can be smarter tram the serpent, why can't humans? How very clever and funny besides.

Thanks for putting me in a good mood in preparation for giving my dentist a big smile when I see her in a few hours, LOL! Of Co use I'd rather give her a nut, but she's allergic to them!

So that makes two laughs so early in the morning, and sure hope I have enough stars to prove it!

I can see that beautiful smile on your face Portia. Let us hope and pray it will stay there... Looking for more posts and hope all good news with the doctor's appointment. I would still like to know how they measure pain tolerance.Pleas let me know when you find out .

I thought you could change the third line since you used the word, "ate" twice. It's not a huge deal, just sounded repetitious to me.

I love the squirrels moving in to finish the peanuts and showing no concern that he died lol!
