All of that for a dollar bill. I love it. Maybe some in Congress should get a copy of this but it most likely go over their heads anyways. or they blame on the other side. You did send good message to all of us on what we should give thanks for. GB

Glad this work struck the target although I feel subject raised two way street effect on its reader. They who must protect mostly as drunks in denial. Thanking you for way too generous rate but beloved comments pleasing.

Your poem is written with a lot of expression. It shows how this world depends on the almighty dollar. It's a sad shame that so many people do without because of the greed in this world. I really enjoyed reading this very much. God bless you!

Funny write for me originally, what you read years of torments to somewhat properly present. Thanking you for generous rate and charming thoughts.

This is very well done. Poetry all the way and it says so much. Interesting how you move from the ones at the top making and writing the bills to the ones at the bottom trying to pay the bills. But, how we all sell out for the all mighty dollar bill. This a sad commentary about life. "How much good will you compromise or steal?"
I didn't see any errors or corrections to be made.

Those pits are there, this work was built off reviews such as yours. I too, am surprised. Thanking you! For generous rate and welcomed encouragement.

A nicely crafted creative work, very instinctive and very real. You run your argument so neatly that it gives the heart thoughts to ponder. The dollar bill and the Bill which is the law are both powerful but corruptive in nature. Both are used to oppress the less privilege people and to subvert justice. You clearly pointed out the evils that the two bills do to man.

This poem is about money and if you learn to live without it you could have time to travel and have fun.
People worship money more than they worship God.

Certainly there are many things both good and bad that people have done for a dollar bill. You have touched on many in this poem. I had a hard time understanding where you're meaning was going in this part.
"I need to have greater hopes than them,
a grand slam bill,
to have a few bills."
It seems there's a word or two I might suggest that might help the flow. Lady's arm, or would you kill?

thanking you for this generous thought, I come to find a lack in certain line defining but structure of this work established
Comment from st francis
'Carnal flesh god of men,
desires to obtain our shame and destined ills,..' this sums it up I think. We make money our god to gain self fulfillment for our fleshly and disordered desires. O how tragic that we are so short sighted and falsely believe we were not made for more.
A thought provoking poem with guts and the ending so perfect because we recognise these truths but our ego seems to win every time. Sometimes we settle for very little at a huge price to our well being 'Yes I think I will for a dollar bill'. Well done.
