An excellent entry.. this poem no doubt has many readers on this site who know who's who just by their particular style grinning from ear to ear. But then again.. I wonder.. and for now I think I had better keep my big mouth shut! Good luck to you, though I must admit you don't need it. This is written so well and reads so well!

Thanks, Dawny, but I never turn down good luck wishes, LOL. In fact, I'll take all of the luck that I can get.

It never ceases to amaze me -- dare I say even astounds me! -- how a poem or story can get over 50+ positive reviews, then receive six, seven, even eight (if you're lucky) votes in a contest. people who read your work, even enjoy it, don't always take the time to simply vote. It's always been that way here, and it probably always will be.

Oh well, it is what it is...
