This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. There is very good imagery and descriptive scheme.

I did like your poem and its message. You did a good job with the prompt. One thing I have to mention is the use of the word 'knowing' and 'so'. Seems too much to me. However, I did not write the poem, and I am not counting off. Good job and good luck in the contest.
