I'd go see the play!Though I'm still trying to figure out how to make for'ard into one syllable. I like that God uses OMG, I like your doorbell. I like your moment of confusion (or was it panic) when you thought Janus was Janis. I did have to read it twice, to follow completely - but that may have been that I got completely distracted by the mention of chocolate macadamia ice cream. Please, don't do that. Because now I need to go google it, and go find some. Nice work.

Thx somuch Muse! I couldn't figure out how to write "forward" as one syllable apart from "fo'w'd" or "fawd" which would confuse 1. people and 2. especially Americans ... any suggestions?? "ford" would confuse them even more! he he he! And chocolate macadamia nut ice-cream is to be HIGHLY recommended by the way - Roselani brand - so next time you're in Hawaii, you'll know how to indulge, right?
:)Sharyn

Hmmm, you're the poet! I cannot think of a way...forth? But that doesn't work does it? And next time I'm in Hawaii - I will try it - and you can believe I won't forget it. One does not forget such things. At least not one with their priorities right. ;)
-
now I can see that "f'oward" is going to haunt my dreams - aaah, but ice-cream will haunt yours, dear, so - an even exchange!

It didn't take away from the story, Visionary. I didn't even think of it until I read your comments at the end. You are correct about the ice-cream. I tried to substitute raspberry yogurt, but it just isn't working.
-
no, I wasn't too worried dear! nope - it has to be DECADENT or it just won't work! :)))

This was such a fun read. So very unusual and I thought even a bit informative. I would venture to guess you had a good time writing this one, and it was indeed entertaining to the reader as well. I love the set as explained. Very funny and well written.

So glad you enjoyed this one MJ - I over-detail my scripts because I know many people find scripts hard to read in just straight script format. So glad you enjoyed! :)Sharyn

I loved this because I am like Janus, too, only I don't see my former selves as me, but as another person that lives in me now, trapped in my mind, forever stuck in their time period, waiting to help me whenever they can with the wisdom they acquire by living their lives in a perpetual circle until I die. I am not an eighteen-year-old, but he lives in me and so does all my other decanus (ten-year-beings) who lived so intensely when they were in charge. They are still in charge, only not of this body. They are forever 0 to 10, 10 to 20, 20 to 30 and so on. My decanus will only die when the last decanus takes over my body. Thanks for sharing.

hey Joe - those parts of us are always there and can be accessed in meditation whenever you need guidance. Sometimes as an adult, we react FROM those parts of us, and have to go in and fix whatever it is that's bugging THEM so we can be the adult, yes? This one's dedicated to you, my dear!
:)The Royal We
ps: say your 'ed' PM - thx so much!

Thanks a lot for the dedication, and you said it all. They are all there, and I like to talk to them whenever I can.

You certainly did fulfill the requirements of the contest. Girl if nothing else you have shown what it was like to be one of the elite in a time before time.

This is a very interesting and inspiring piece. I think we all keep reminding ourselves of the past and worrying about the future, no matter the age group. Nice positive message :)

That surprising likeness to yourself
might just get this play off the shelf
Delightful how you shared the story
How Janus fits into Rome's glory
A two-faced god to bring them luck
provided they have needed pluck
but love like crazy, that's the way
to keep em happy every day
