You mentioned in one of your reviews that your time had been held captive by one nightmare after another. I'm glad you wee convinced to write about it, Carol! This was captivating from the start and I look forward to part 2!

I did and I truly feel for you but can't reach you. Why do people always say I will help you and don't. or half Ass it. It would be better If the didn't offer to help period. it just makesdouble work for you i know I'm going through the same thing well not as bad as you.
God will give you the strenght and things will turn out allright. Just don't try to do everything at once.

Sorry to hear that, Carol. I was wondering where you were. I thought, perhaps you were enjoying a long vacation, wow, was I wrong.
Your story is heartbreaking to read. It's hard to think family would destroy your house, but I know it happens. All that, on top of your significant other having such terrible health problems.
And it sounds like the nightmare gets worse. I hope writing it out acts as some form of therapy for you through all this, otherwise uncork a bottle of wine and relax with a few glasses. - John

Carol, it is wonderful to read a piece by you but sad that your true story is filled with so many details of things gone tragically wrong. Each obstacle you have had to overcome is presented with vivid detail, clarity and passion - I love your narrative voice. Now I'm going to read part two. Brooke :-)

Hi Carol,
How many disasters can one person live through? I am so sorry for you troubles and the thoughts of that beautiful home being destroyed is almost to painful to bear. As usual you have written this piece very well with excellent imagery. Hope all is better soon. Blessings, chey
