One-eyed Fred to the rescue
Those bed monsters become bar-b-que
When Fred says run, they shoo
Not much else they can do
When One-eyed Fred comes to the rescue
Well done, Buck

Nice flash. I found the story to be an adorable read, B.A. One issue:
"There's nothing to be afraid of, Son.">>can't see the significance of "son" being capped here.
Other than that this is very good.

That is a cute story. Do you write a lot of children books because this could be one to be published. Thanks for bringing out stories that bring peace to the world.

I enjoy writing simple things for children but have never concentrated on just children's books. Thanks for the encouragement. Smiles, CArol

honestly, I always thought it was the other way around: WE can't create a world for children, any more than we can take it away. I mean, isn't the kid always in charge?

It's amazing how you get inspirations as if instantly. This is another from Suneagle's contest, right? I would never have thought of a cuddly monster, Carol... Lovely story.

Belinda,
My son cherished his cuddly monster for years. Bought another at a garage sale just for the memories. Thank you..Smiles, Carol
