This was a fun read, Carol. Young people who worry about getting old annoy me too. Hattie's response to them was cute. Well done.

Now Hattie sounds like
quite a lady, one worth
knowing. Love the sense
of humor and oh so glad
the character couldn't
refuse making a statement.
no nits or spags... Lora

This is too cute for words. I enjoyed reading it and laughed throughout. Another great job, by a great lady. I found no mechanical errors. I just rechecked your senior citizen classfication. Aren't we in the same age range?

Barbara,
My baby boy is 27 and yours is in high school. I fear I'm the Great Grandmother in this little group. Turning a blushing 62 in September...they say I'm preserved well! LOL Smiles, Carol

My oldest will be 32 in July. I'm 56, so you're not that much older.

My oldest, Johnny, will be 42 on July 21st...I can't believe it! Smiles, Carol

Hahaha, blame it on the Bosanova or whatever. Here I guess it would be the Creme de Menthe and Irish Whiskey. I loved this. The last line is priceless. Where did all the young boys go???
You've made my day. luv jada

Although a non-drinker and hater of alcohol, this is very cute and funny. The picture is really funny and goes well with the poem. It is not my usual type of poem, but it turned out very funny. Good work! God bless.
