Carol - This is a fun flash fiction story. The little girl sure did know how to trick the teacher by hiding the green beans. Well written.

Yes, and I had to keep a straight face while the teacher explained to me how unacceptable her actions were...Smiles, Carol

Enjoyed your cherry write.
So glad the children got their ice cream ... however, it was earned.
Got quite a giggle out of
:A continuous string of green beans lined the small ledge under the table.

This is a really cute story. Sometimes you just cannot outsmart those little ones. They can be very resourceful when it becomes necessary.

Fun and tasty read, Carol. Loved Wendy's problem solving skills! You created a great flash fiction piece, even if it was a bit long for the contest. Have you tried Twit-Lit? Write a short short story in 140 characters. If anyone can do it, you can! Great job here, Deb

LOL.
Thanks for the cute story, Carol.
I could not figure out how "Wendy" might get out of eating the green beans but now I know.
Have you ever done anything like that? :~)
Much enjoyed!

She still doesn't eat green beans and she's 39 years old. Smiles, Carol

Hmm...I would never refuse a good green bean (topped with fried onions) casserole.
Yummy.
Smiles back to you.

This is cute. Those adorable litte tykes learn how to be sneaky early. I've seen them on Funniest Home Vidios hiding their vegetables and hoping no one is looking. I remember hating green beans myself but I like them now.
