"Inked" is a fun to read poem about the tramp stamp. Written with perfect rhythm and rhyming, and reads smooth throughout. Well done as always.

Oh my God this is hysterical. Love the art, and the idea that those wishing for ink need psychiatric help! (Never understood the draw myself.) Very cute & fun.

Lol is that what tattoos are called 'tramp stamps'? I enjoyed this very funny piece of jaunty poetry but I'll give the tattoo a miss lol

5 stars for writing, but 1 star for making these seem admirable. Oh, how I hate to see beautiful people colored up with these horrific and ugly creations.]
Your poem is so well written, I read it all through, but honestly, I must be soooooo old.

The WORST ones now are the beautiful young girls getting their ENTIRE arms tatooed. The WHOLE thing from shoulder on down! Ugly as hell, in my book. A one star for making them seem admirable...now THAT's cool! LOL!! Thanks so much for your great review, Skye. Sue :-))

You didn't seem the type even to get a butterfly where no one can see it. I know it is an art form and have been amazed by some of it. But not on my body. Great write. joan marie

No, I don't really have a tramp stamp; not even a tiny tat. Just had a bit of fun! Saw the image first, then wrote about it. Thanks much for your great review! Sue :-))

Some people you just know that isn't their thing. The man who tried to kill me had a lot of tatoos and now unfortunately that's it what I associate them with. I know it isn't always that way. People must be free to express themselves in their unique way. jm

This is a fun little poem. :) It made me laugh. YOu got a tramp stamp. That is too funny. On a technical level, this poem is very well written. It rhymes easy and flows well. Great job- Sam

I loved the rhyme pattern with this one Sue! Aren't tats all the rage now? I saw one this past weekend that blew me away - a young kid had the fingers of his right-hand tattooed with seriously heavy swear words!!! well done

Jude, glad you liked that rhyme pattern. It made it a bit o' fun. I'm too chicken to even get a teeny tiny tat! Thanks for your review. Sue

Hehhehe I enjoyed this one, Sue, being a 'tattooed lady' myself - at my age, I've just had a large boa constrictor finished around my calf and foot. "Tramp stamp" - great rhyme but I haven't heard it before. This is a great, lighthearted poem. Cheers. :)

Now you can spread the term "tramp stamp" around in Oz. Ha! I'm too afraid to even get the tiniest of a ink. Thanks for your review. Sue :-))

Your choice of photographic splendor
like the carnival barker with the hook
pulling the customers in.
Now once within your clutches, the
words of laughter spill over the page
from the very first stanza that then
culminates with a throaty laugh at
the final act.
Well done and great start for a day
