Oooh, that photo stops my breath. I think I can see the cold air in front of my face! What a beautiful piece of writing an exquisite example of description at it's finest. Between this photo and your words i want to run through this snow.

I'm so happy you enjoyed this poem - how about I send you my snow and you can run through it while I enjoy the grass! LOL
Thank you so much for your most generous review, Brooke :-)

Beautiful! I've seen it. Your words reminded me that yes, this is what I see. But you capture it so well in so few words. God's gallery, indeed. Priceless art. Loved it.

I am also snowed in. Your last line said it all Gods gallery. Your words are full of wonder and joy at the perfect way snow paints a picture.

I'm not actually enjoying it at all, just trying to talk myself into being positive about it! LOL Thanks so much, Brooke :-)

Snow is so beautiful, and it has the magic power to turn the most dismal scenes into ones of sparkling beauty. It is hard to remain angry with the snowman for long, even when traffic is snarled, or we have to dig out. You paint a wonderful picutre in your poem. For me, you saved the best for last - my favourite lines were:
admission free,
God's gallery.
Yeah.

This is lovely, and it reminds me that there is always something to do for free. Like go for a walk! Outside! Imagine that.

You're right - life does provide free entertainment - my daughter and I like going to the mall and people watching while we window shop - just noticing what other folks wear can be a laugh a minute! LOL Thanks, Brooke :-)

Oh, how that beautiful white stuff can take your breath away, even if it is soooooo cold.

Snow: beautiful to look at, and a right royal pain in the arse to have to navigate :-). I particularly like "artwork formed from winter's storm" in this one. Some lovely imagery, and the steady, assured hand that I've come to expect.
