Liked the red and green thing as well nice rhyme and flows well.
I'm much for symbols any more since I got scorned for using them in my works.

What a wonderful tale you weave with your verse. Your image of the fairy is perfect. I like the idea of your combining a little of the magic people with a more Christian aspect. It gives us all something to think about.

This is the stuff that enduring Christmas poems are made from. Well done. My Grandfather always had at least one holly tree in his yard - He believed that they brought good fortune to family of the home where they grew.
