Aging isn't for the weak. I question how it's a reward for growing older, but then I see my grandchildren and think of my soon to be great grandchild and know yes, it is a reward. Thank you for sharing this well written poem with us.

Once again you have me laughing at the early dawn. Finally had one day of sun, today wind and rain. A life in the great North West. This April a day poem contest will be hard but have got started, we will see. It is quite a show, the trees speak why are you still in bed.

Okay, you have convinced me. I am starting a dispensary. The market is so saturated that I'll never make a penny, but the rewards (loss of memory and motivation) will be there. We are close to the same age, friend. Accept it with a smile. That doesn't mean you've given up. Please tell me I'm right, otherwise I'm having a long weekend and it's only hump day.

Oh, the trials and tribulations of getting old. I like the "Pharmacy under the sink." How true that is. The rhyming was great in this poem. I loved the last stanza where every line rhymed. You really painted the picture of aging quite nicely. Great poem.

Getting old isn't the most wonderful thing. Baking sound good! The poem is nicely written, of course. I have two new knees but am still achy all over. I'm 75; don't even know how I made it! Evi

Ahh my dear friend.
Aging is far from gentle on the body, is it?
I love this poem, and unfortunately, I recognise in myself so much of what you describe.
The only think is I am Not Old!
I just have too many laps under my belt.
