Yes, Jim, this sets the New Year right for me. I love myself completely now. I've learned from the past and have moved on to the present.

Another fine poem, Jesse......it's so true, as I get older I look back at the younger me and shake my head. The things I used to think were important didnt mean Jack. I wouldn't trade places with my younger self for anything--I take that back, if I could take the knowledge from now with me, I would trade

This is beautifully written and it flows very well when it is read aloud if only more people would understand that they need to be a better person today than they were yesterday. I am so glad that you have a resolution for your own life. May you have a wonderful year and may God bless you as you continue to write. Patricia.
BTW, if you will go back and click at the bottom of your post and then do I delete for two or three times you will find you won't have so much empty space at the bottom of your post.
