Well done. And it is hard to squeeze out all the same rhyming sounding words. You and Kenzie are lucky. I hope your turkey day was good. Me and my sister's played some old games. Racko and Yahoo. I haven't played games in ages. I creamed 'em. I won 3 out 5. We were laughing like lunatics. It was swell:-)

I love hearing that your Thanksgiving was so much fun with your sister. We play lots of games too and have so much fun. We all bring a bag of coins with because we play one call horses, and a little dice, and of course some without money too. The main thing is it is nice to be with family.
Thanks for the sweet review. Take care and we will talk soon!
Lotsa love, Debi

It was as if we were in elementary school. We had the giggles. It was wonderful. No fighting or fussing at all. Just joy. :-)

AWWW! This is so sweet, and even makes an old bear like me get a lump in the throat. Must mean I'm part frog or something. LOL. Thanks for sharing another of our touching poems!

Sorry, but how can this be anything less then a six!
With a phone call or FaceTime we get to hear them, see them or both.
But with a text, that can be done anytime and as simple as sending a smiley face.
Your text led you to a complete poem. How great is that, grandma?
Loved it Debi. Grandkids are great. They're an extension of our kids.
Doesn't get much better.
Love ya.

Hello my wonderful brother. Thank you for this awesome review with the kindest comments and the lovely six stars. You are so sweet. Did you hear from James today too. He dropped by to see me and it was so good to see him too. Thanks again for all the sweet things you said, little brother. Awe, only a couple more weeks of calling you little brother. Haha. I hope you had a nice thanksgiving and so glad you liked your smashup. You are going to love the one from your birthday. Take care and thanks again, my awesome bro.
Lotsa love, Debi

No. The last time James and I communicated was in the summer.
Do you have an email address for him? If not, I'll PM him here and wait till he signs on. Last he told me, he doesn't sign onto FanStory to often.
I hope all is well with him.
John

Sorry I didn't get back to you but it sounded like something heavy was going on with him.

James actually sent me a long PM, and yes, he's carrying a heavy load at the moment.
I answered him back as a brother should., I've gotten to know 2 wonderful individuals here, James and somrone named Debi. I consider them family and though from a long distance, will do my best to be there for them!

This is absolutely adorable. I loved it. I am so happy you and Kenzie have such a great relationship. Arianna, my 21-year-old granddaughter and I have a similar relationship. I understand. The little ones and I have a wonderful relationship. It will be fun watching those relationships grow.

Hi Barb, amazing but McKenzie, (her real name) is also 21 and I love that she will start it with me still in our text messages. We are good grandmas, Barb, and it just goes to show me, what a terrific job you have done too.
When a 21 year old who is self confident and doing well, and they still have time to play little games with old memories and be there for you. It means You have been a good grandma. I don't doubt you have that with yours too. I bet she adores you right back, as Kenzie does me. I am a little partial to her but maybe because she was here and I did daycare the whole time Kenzie was growing up.
However it doesn't mean I don't love the other 5 just as much, as I treasure and have my great times with them too.

I do understand. I love my grandsons so much too, but it's completely different.

Hi Debi
This is a quickly flowing poem which tells how all mother/daughter relationships should be, but sadly aren't.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a fabulous weekend

Dearest K, I am so sorry this is late, but I got so behind. We were goofing around texting again and I started to write her a little poem with part of these lines and then I thought, I might as well finish it and use it. Thanks again and I did truly appreciate your kind words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my sweet friend.

Awwww, Debi, what a sweet tradition you two have. I love the way you tracked back across time and brought up the situations you both had the opportunity to share the message of love.
Your poem is well written and eloquently expressed. The progression of the storyline works well with the repetition of "I love you more."
Love and hugs,
Rhonda
