What a blast, Helen! You saw more of the FS friends than I did, but I didn't get there till the end. I'm more of an event planner than an event attendee. I probably would have founded you on the sidelines after Wendy and I returned from walking Sunny on the beach. I loved how you touched on all the different sides of us and how we can blend together as friends if we try. Well done!
Smiles and hugs, Carol

Yes, we can blend peacefully, I'm sure of it! But you made sure that the problem character was taken care of! Congratulations on your win! Thanks for reviewing mine! Hugs!

You didn't miss too many out in your convention party, Helen, even Michael and Dean made a brief appearance. . I loved the ending of this one, when quiet reined as they got their phones out and their fingers typing. Very entertaining Helen,
cheers,

I thought remembering our old friends who left us -sigh- would be a way of bringing us all more together. Thanks so much, Valda! Hugs!

OH Helen! This is incredible. You know so many f fanstory members and you have included all of them in the party .This must have taken a lot of effort. You even included those who have left like Dean KUCH and Michael Cahill.. And ending with a musical treat which had to be stopped by Mr ENS...Thank you for including me..

Oh wow, you should write post to remember these friends. You know so many more than I do. You put down their starting year at FS. I wonder how many others remember them. I miss Joan E, too! But a lot on your list were not here when I joined. Thanks for listing them! 💖
-
I miss Joan as well...she loved to
travel...and I told her I packed my
suit case and I was ready...she would
send me pictures...like I was there...
we joked about it...
our so very welcome...love ya...xxoo

Oh that's so sweet!
She had her cancer treatment at the same time my husband did. I was so sad she didn't make it. And then her husband immediately married again. That made me a little sad, too. But I guess at our senior age, one can't wait too long.

No wonder I didn't spot you at the party Helen as you were wearing an invisible cloak. I hope you didn't leave anyone out here as you have probably mentioned the entire cast of Fanstory in this post, organising them into suitable groups! You made me smile with your humour and unique stories and I am glad you were able to attend this function and bring the scene to life with your excellent tale, much enjoyed, love Dolly x x x

Thanks so much, Dolly! I had to give it a try. I know I must have missed some! Mostly, I didn't want our less prolific writers to be overlooked.
Hugs!

A fun and humorous piece of writing. You show here how well you are acquainted with a huge number of FanStorians, along with their interests and writing specialities. And the song of blessing is beautiful. I enjoyed the climax with Tom's announcement.

Do you play that song in your church? When our six friends visited, they wanted to attend our church because we told them so much about it. And the final song was that and so we decided we'll sing it over our families for forty days. Thanks for reviewing, Wendy! Hugs!

We have it at times, but not often- it's a beautiful benediction.

Haha. You are the only one who wrote about me in the party. I really appreciate it. You are a true friend. It looks like fun. Your hiding behind the invisibility cloak helped you to observe undisturbed. So shrud.
Well done.

Thanks, Lisa! I wanted to hide because I do not like big parties and I'd rather be listening and not interacting if possible.
Hugs!

I want to write one, too now after reading a few. I want to write a crazy one.
-
You can do it! But the contest part is over so you can just do it as a separate short story post.
-
Didn't know it's a contest. Thanks for letting me know.
-
It was an unofficial contest which Rachelle created. If you look up Rachelle Allen, she gave us directions:
