Your words were uplifting and perfect as the two moved through life to their own sound of music.... Until mine stopped. I do miss his song, but I struggle through memories to still sing along.

Hi, Carol
I lost my husband too last year. And I do miss him. It's funny how grief
strike will strike you unexpectedly at times. You'll just remember a moment.
Thank you for your heartfelt review

My heart goes out to you. It's not easy! I've lost many people in my lifetime, but his loss haunts me the most. Yes, something triggers something and pow!

This poem, His Song, presented with eight AABB-rhymed quatrains, gives credit where it is due as the man in this relationship is providing the high notes which allow for the enjoyment of this "musical".

This is a sweet romantic poem. It made me feel as though you were singing it to me even though we don't know each other well I felt my heart sing as if in a symphony. The picture of the minstrel adds a pleasurable feel while enjoying the lyrical words and rhymes that encourage the reader to relate and enjoy.
Thanks for lifting my spirits.

This is such a wonderful poem. Full of love and appreciation for a loved one. Each verse brought new reasons as to how and why the person along with their music makes them feel so happy and loved. Taking all their fears ans problems away
It has lovely rhyme and as its a musical poem I was sort of reading it almost singing it so you captured love through music in the poem very well.
A lovely romantic poem for a beautiful Sunday morning, Thank you

As I read this musical love poem I thought of the Aussie rock n roller who is my go to man for music, especially if I'm down. I like that through your lovely words, the reader can think of their own musical choir. Nice one Pam,
cheers,
valda

You're rather good at fiction Pam, as well as being so good at the theme, the flow, the Meter and the rhyme, I'm wondering if you have a backlog of poetry in your poetic hope chest? Well done, blessings Roy

Yes I do Roy. I wrote a lot of poetry about 50 years ago (maybe a little bit less) and I've been polishing them up, sometimes rewriting them, but keeping the same theme
Thank you again for all of your encouragement

BOO is reading...this presentation looks super good! The font and picture is nice. Musicians write love songs and ballads.
Your rainbow colors haunt my dreams,
but, then I see an eye that gleams
Emotions sent; emotions caught,
You always know when I'm distraught.
Oh, I picked a favorite quatrain. It was a hard choice. Every stanza is magnificent! You believe in your work. It shows by you promoting high! Without a blink of an eye.
