Donald Trump's mum was born on the Hebridean island of Lewis, during the time of a massive Christian revival, whether she was caught up in that or not I'm not sure, I know he has been there to visit. This was a great poem Pam, I'm not fond of anti migration, migrants enrich, enliven and add progress and add diversity to the to the culture, my country has profited by it, beautifully written Pam, blessings Roy

I wasn't aware of his use of chain migration for his wives and his father and grandfather also used chain migration even though he wants to halt all migrants from crossing the borders. What a hypocrite! Trump's fortune was reaped by using cheap labor of migrants and his discrimination of the black community is scandalous!
He benefits from chain migration but doesn't want anyone else to benefit from the same thing.
Thanks for letting me know. I knew he was a crook but I didn't know how far he had taken his criminal activities.
I hope we can stop him at the polls.

me too, Jesse it's starting to look more and more hopeful I think pretty soon. I'll be calling voters in the swing states, Democratic voters and trying to encourage them to vote. I'm just waiting for a list of phone numbers. Just so you know, I'll be having surgery on August 22 and I might be out of commission here on fan story for a while.

It's pretty serious. Spinal surgery on my back. The risk is that I won't be able to come off the ventilator. Risk is pretty low but higher me than for those with good lungs. I have COPD and asthma.

Should be able to walk again after the surgery.

I feel for you, my friend.
I know what it is to have surgery on the back. I've had three on my lower back and two on my neck.
After I broke my neck in 2020, I haven't been able to walk and use a wheelchair to get around.
I am glad you will be able to walk again. Walking is the best thing ever!
I wish you all the best and will be thinking of you on August 22.

I'm sorry to hear you broke your neck. Are you never going be able to walk again or use a walker? Are you able to transfer to a wheelchair the toilet?

I can at least transfer and even after surgery, I may not walk because my balance is too bad. I may just use a walker but at least that's better than wheelchair issue right now is that my back is partially paralyzed because otherwise I'd be an excruciating pain. the surgery should release the paralysis also

I hope you're not in that much pain, my friend.

Where are your three back surgeries laminectomy?

Yes, I can transfer to the wheelchair, the toilet, and even a car to attend appointments.
I still have a full life.
My three lower back surgeries bonded L-4 to L-5.
I hope I still will walk one day.
I go to physical therapy once a week.
I am making progress every day.
My pain is manageable.

My surgery is a go. I'll probably be out of commission for a month maybe longer but probably not.

I'll probably post to a day before I have the surgery. That way it'll be very pleasant for me to see the reviews when I can.
