What a story Wendy. How terrifying it must have been for you as a family, especially since you were parted from your husband and just prayed he would be safe. This is the problem when we travel and stay in foreign countries, we never know what will become of us. I was stuck in Spain during Covid and I was completely alone for 18 months just in survival mode. I was relieved to return to England and see my family. Your story had the threat of war where you could have lost your lives. Your children will never forget this experience and yet I think it has made them stronger individuals. A well written and fascinating story of escape in modern times Wendy, love Dolly x x x
