It is very hard to say goodbye to the love of you life. I know because I've done it too. At least 61 years with him. You have written a very beautiful love poem for her.

A poignant write, Willie about the loss of a long time love and the wait, until they are together again. Though gone, they are always with us in our hearts and the thought that they will be together again very comforting. A lovely read, and I wish you luck in the contest.

I'm afraid we have no control over both life, its length and indeed, time itself, I love this poem, the love of my life is still with me, to which I'm very grateful, and to this end I'm happy. What a lovely love-themed poem! I really enjoyed reading it. The wording, structure, and rhyme scheme were all spot on. Amazingly done. The only thing I might say is perhaps changing the font to something a bit more readable, as at times I did have slight trouble reading certain words. That is all. Everything else is absolutely wonderful. Well done!

Yeah. I could not read the.the top. Print is too small for me. Keep in mind that there are a lot of elderly people on this site and eyes go first to go when you get older
I did like your poem. and I felt for whoever it is that was in that situation. I didn't know whether that person was you or not because I often write in the first person just because it's convenient.
