Love your story but at the same time, I am feeling very sorry for you, (although of course the humorous parts made me laugh so much!) I too am "over" travelling. We've done a fair bit, both within Australia and overseas, and like you, I feel "enough is enough". There really is no place like home. I am glad you are back safe and well, and just remember that every experience is a story waiting to be written! Well done.

Hello Wendy,
thanks so much for the exceptional review gal. I suppose that when the winter snows are starting to wear me out, I'll once again envision a small trip to a warmer climate, but if I do, it will be to stay primarily in one spot, and hopefully go fishing. Traveling is exhausting, and all the more so because so many people have different ideas than you do of what is appropriate behavior, especially on the planes. Oh well, we're back, so thank God for that.

Never mind Tom, I've travelled a lot over the years, some are really good, and some are much better. I raised my kids to travel, the relationships were forged in spending time together. But some don't have yen, I sympathise, it depends how we are wired, I'm sorry dear Tom, well done, blessings Roy

Hello Roy,
thanks for you fine review. It sounds like you've enjoyed traveling. I used to when I was young, and the airplanes in coach class had only two seats instead of three and there was leg room. I couldn't believe how very crowded the highways were down south either. I've never seen so many cars on the road at once, and they all want to get to where they are going fast! I'm obviously wired differently I suppose.

Maybe the roads were less cluttered where we went. Not everybody likes travelling, Australians for some reasons are well travelled, less of us, bu we bumped into more Aussies thank Americans internationally.

Thanks so much for sharing about your long trip! I don't enjoy traveling either and am always happy to be in my own house and sleep in my own bed. But I'm glad you were able to see your hometown and visit with Buffalo Bob!

Hi Helen,
I couldn't believe how great my bed felt after so many different beds and hotel rooms. Being able to eat balanced meals that were affordable was a big plus too. I think I may be getting too old to go traveling anymore. I did want to do it before it became impossible to drive any distance, and I especially wanted to see Buffalo, though I could have done without the ongoing commentary while I was driving. Oh well, it all comes out in the wash.
