That's a the great thing about poetry - it's a creative form of release. I like the "diamonds into coal" - although I've read that unlike the Superman movie, the coal can't become diamonds. Good us consonance and internal rhyme!

This is exceptional- the way you describe a state of known recklessness is very creative and you deliver very clearly the state of mind of this pieces subject- almost like a poem written by a rock and roll icon

I really liked the line " turning diamonds to coal" been accused of being a bit of a grump myself at times but have told my now grown sons that I was cancelling Christmas for years they now tell my grandkids pappa cancelled it years ago LOL , Thanks for sharing your poem posting

This is written well, short and snappy but such a string message. I think we all at one time or another or eight now has somebody like that in our lives. I was nodding going this is written for this person I know to a T!!!! Thanks for sharing I enjoyed it
