Great use of alliteration and consonance! I guess "sense" is for what we feel physically and "sympathy" is what we feel with our emotions. It's good to be sympathetic but it can also be a burden so the last line shows the peace of unemcumbrance. Best wishes in the contest!

Unencumbered bliss. It is a wonderful state to be in. I rarely achieve it, though. Probably I should do more peaceful wondering. :) Poem is very nice.

Sometimes I think we all need to get unplugged a bit and just relax and not worry about things that are going on in the world. Sometimes that is hard though. Have a good day and I enjoyed your 575 for the contest and I wish you the best in the contest Patricia .

Thank you for the review. However, what are the 'adjustments' needed for improvement? The four stars - by definition - state that the writing is good but there are known flaws, mistakes, etc. Four stars should be accompanied by suggested improvements to noted flaws... I appreciate your kind words, but what are your suggestions to bring it up to a piece that does not need adjustments or improvement? Thank you.

I am so sorry. This is the second time this has happened to me. Something to do with rating it. It seems to be different for different. I honestly thought the best rating was 4 stars. I am going to see if I can edit it.
