What a pleasing conclusion of a story that captivated me from the beginning. This couple captured my heart early on and my love from them continued to grow. I have no doubt that their love will prosper and grow. Another awesome job of writing stories that please.

Well, that was a nice proposal, and Seth got to Emma how she is the most important person in his life, and how much he loves her. And Emma got to show and tell Seth.... well, at least she said yes, eventually. I'm sure Seth and the town's folk will get to love and praise Emma for years to come.

Good job on completing your romance story.

Thank you for the kind review. There are other ways to show true love other than sex.
reply by lancellot on 17-Mar-2024
You are absolutely right. Now, ask yourself, does Emma show, give, or demonstrate true love to Seth in this story, at least enough, in 48 days to get him (an intelligent, good man) to propose? If your answer is yes, list in your mind what those things are.

Yes, and I can come up with numerous ways. I fail to understand why you can't see it.

Oh well. If you're happy with the romance then, that's all that matters.

    Good luck with your publisher.

I am happy and so is my publisher. He's working on my book about Cord and Allie now. He wanted this one right away, but I wanted to send it to an editor before he gets its. Then his team will edit it. I like to use a few editors to make sure it's thoroughly edited. On Wednesday I got invited to do another Author's Fair in August. So, my fans are happy too.

Good plan. A good editor is worth their weight in gold.

Even in my published books, I still find things I want to change, and they've been through three editors. I guess one can never get something perfect.

When he come inside, (came)

Awesome story and a beautiful ending.... loved the romance and how he opened his heart to show his love. In Case You Didn't Know is the song Mike and I danced to at our wedding. Got a chill!

And another Hip Hip Hurrah! for your novel being Published. I'm thrilled for you....

I couldn't be happier for you.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

Well you came up with the classic happy ending, Seth and Emma style. Of course his proposal gets interrupted by the phone call, but he slips on that ring and turns the phone off and she finally melts. It is the melodramatic proposal we have come to expect, I guess, with the line through the backyard and all the notes forming a time line of their history. In a way it speaks to how these seemingly trivial moments can add up to a life. They seem to loom larger when taken in context. estory

Great! I enjoyed how Seth did his proposal. It reminded her of how their love developed. I can't figure out why men have to get down on their knees to propose. On this this TV show I watch, an elderly man had to get help when he took a knee to propose! If Emma gets busy teaching and taking courses as she plans, she'll be more understanding when Seth's busy working on a case. She's already seen what his job entails. I didn't have any doubts about Emma's accepting his proposal. She's had so many distractions, but now she can focus on her love for Seth. Congratulations on the release of "Love for the Win." I'll be looking for it. judi

What a lovely, romantic proposal, Barbara. Of course she said yes, lol.

I'm not sure if this is the final chapter by your author's notes. It would be perfect to end it here, but not sure if that's your intention. I really enjoyed your novel, and know you already have another ready for us, and it has nothing to do with Ben Colder!! Lol. Well done. :) Sandra xx

LOL My next novel is being posted on Wednesday's. I'll post it this Wednesday and then start it on Sunday's next week. Yes, this is the ending. I need to check those author's notes. Thank you for the kind review.

I sort of implies it's the end, but you never actually put it at the end... Now that doesn't sound right! I hope you understood what I meant! 😂
