I like this! Beautifully and clearly presented! The verse reminds me of Robert Frost's quote: "I have never started a poem yet whose end I knew. Writing a poem is discovering." A great entry for the contest. Good luck! Debbie

Sometimes we only have an idea to start with. Or, maybe, just a sentence comes to mind, or even merely a title. I can relate very well to your entry and the wondrous feeling of having all the lines, message, and artwork come together into a viable posting. Best wishes with your excellent entry.

That's an interesting reflection. I do sometimes start out with a clear message or endpoint in mind, but at other times, things just happen and I'm just the one doing the typing. :) Thanks for the share! :)

I think you nailed it on the head for how I write. Some people seem to know ahead of time everything they want to say and have it all planned out. But I think what you are referring to, is how it unfolds once you start writing. This is my experience. When I'm writing a story, I have absolutely no idea how it ends, and I won't know until it tells me. Best of luck in the contest!

Heh heh, I love this, I know that I've said quite often that I have two lines and have no idea what's going to appear from my writing, and here you are declaring what I'm thinking, beautifully written my friend. Good luck, blessings Roy

Cute. I feel something different: i write
to find out
exactly what i want to say. I'm an idiot, grammar socks. Still, pertaining this particular read. I think this.
