Hi Helen, a timely poem, and yes, from time to time, our FS friends fall ill.
Thank you for writing this poem, and I would like to thank you for your prayers for my husband when he was hospitalized, and then contracted Covid from the hospital. I didn't have the opportunity at the time to see what you wrote, but I did truly appreciate it.
Well done. A poem from the heart. Xo. M

Helen, what a lovely poem and gesture to have this prayer book for anyone to post.
Another proof that this site is more then writing poems or prose for self reasons and/or entering contests. It's about being a part of an extended family and amongst friends. I'd bet that less then one percent of the writers on this site have met anyone else. Then I'll wager that nearly one hundred percent of the active writers care for the well being of the others!
So nicely done!

I liked reading this. It reminds the reader that there is more to fanstory than just entering contests and getting feedback. The real people on this site can also be friends and learn about each other. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Crystie! We do have a lot of strong prayer warriors so we can keep helping each other that way as well as with our writing. Hugs!

Lovely to have this sort of support for each other. So Paul M is still in hospital? Not sounding good. Fortunately we have a God who watches over all of us, sees needs and answers our prayers for many around the world.
Thanks for sharing with your lovely verse.

I think he's back home but I remember that he was leaving Fanstory so he may not post again. Thanks so much, Wendy! Will you post something about Debbie? I didn't mention anything because I wasn't sure if she wanted her fall known. Hugs!
-
She wrote a story about it called "Christmas Disaster" (on the front page of FS), so I don't think I'll add anything to what she has said. Her fall sounded quite serious and painful, but she is recovering okay. She wrote about it with humour!!

I think there are things on the Front page I miss entirely. I am so focused on getting through my Inbox. Maybe I should try to pay more attention to the Front page?
-
I'm like that too. I usually forget to look there; often look only once a week.
-
I'm glad you told me! I reviewed it. But then when I got to the very bottom of my Inbox, I found it! Sigh. I guess I missed a bunch since Christmas.

Lovely reminder that life is unpredictable- especially as we grow older. And we do need the support of friends and family to get through some difficult times. You're always there to offer your helping hand. In a most rhythmic fashion!

Hi Helen,
I know you started this earlier, and I'm glad you did, but I guess I didn't quite understand what it was until now. A great service, my friend, and a way we can find out who all needs prayer.
Thank you for all you do,
Hugs,
Rhonda
