Wow, this is so powerful, Debi. Great Christmas message! I love the final stanza, giving their baggage to Jesus. I also like the repeating "follow me" throughout the poem. The music you included is spectacular. I enjoyed them all. It's nice to hear something new for Christmas. Blessings and Merry Christmas! Carol

Hi Dear Debi,
you have penned(hmmmm, tapped on the keyboard?).. such a beautiful poem for your club entry for the Jesus's birth event in 'finding your muse'... which you did stunningly and them some. As for me, you have composed the perfect message encompassing Jesus's birth and the miraculous gift afforded to us all... if we choose to accept the unconditional love attached to, and in His name.
I love the story you told so beautifully in verse and rhyme... you are a shining star... how blessed we all are to share in the love of our Source.
I surrender me to thee...
I must stop looking so I may see.
Wishing you and all of your family a very Happy and safe Christmas Debi!
With our thoughts we create...
a connection to salvation.
Warmest regards,
James.

Debi this is so beautiful. You are such a talented poem.
I love it. I'm really glad you shared this version of Hallelujah. I really like that tune, but Cohen's version had some dirty lyrics

The picture and the videos were priceless that they mean so much to me, Debi. "Jesus's Birth" meant so much to me they showed me that Jesus's love meant so much to me that the three of them, Sue, Jill and Tim were important to Christ. Blessings n Hugs!!!

How can this not be crowned with six stars? Jesus has been there for all of us. Those who deny that have been screaming of their pain and suffering so long they've drowned out His love and intent for Salvation for all of us.
What a beautifully penned poem, Debi. I LOVE this version of Hallelujah!
Perfect lyrics... At a perfect time of year.
May Christmas hearts be softened and may those who feel lost look toward the manger...
Blessings!

My Special K, and dear Angel, I was watching you on top of my Christmas tree today and I thought I saw you shaking a finger at me when I kept nodding off while trying to catch up on FS today. I also thought I caught a little wink too. LOL?
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kind words and great review for my poem. And also for the honor of your six stars. Thank you so much for that. They are all appreciated so very much. Just as you are everyday. Thank you and hope you and Ed and your kids all had the best Christmas ever.
-
I knew you'd be on FS! Hope you had a fantabulous holiday with the fam first!
I had a fine day but I'm in bed now with a Merry Back ache!
LOL...
-
OMGosh, we really are sisters. My back is so bad I can?t walk across a room without wanting to cry and all they say is they want to do another spine surgery. So I have put on weight from barely walking and barely walking makes me put on more weight. Just like overeating, which I have been terrible lately with the holidays.
Glen just told me before we said goodnight that he thought I was ready for the wheel chair again.
So now that I just gave you another reason we must be sisters, what is up with your back?

Sciatica kicked in thus morning...shooting pain from lower back down left leg into toes. Ugh. I normally don't go stronger than Tylenol, but I think it is a Percocet night! So sorry you're hurting to! We're taking this Thelma and Louise thing to a new level!
-
Sciatica is such a pain in the ass. Truly! I have a new device coming, something like a tens unit but it is one piece and covers a more extensive part of the body. I will let you know if it does any good. Please take care of yourself. Percocet huh, dang I wish I could still do one here and there. Instead I can only do Tylenol or celebrex as the kidneys can?t take any advil. However, something helps a little is the spray can of icy hot. Doesn?t do much for my back, but it does calm nerve pain a little. Have you ever tried it?
-
I am slathered in Icy Hot right now...the gooey creamy stuff that makes my eyes water...
I opted to stick with Tylenol cuz my liver can't process narcs welk.
(But I was tempted!)
Let me know about that "super" TENS unit kind of thing.
I don't own one, but at times when Sciatica stuck around I went to PT and I am a TENS unit fan!
-
It is supposed to be here Friday. So if it works I will let you know. It appears that I have had too many injections for a while, so this is my next best option. Unless you want to send me one of those Percocet. Lol, JK. Really. I could get them back any time I want but the memory is too vivid of how hard it is to get off of them.
Take care of yourself.
And on the bright side, Thelma, the icy hot will keep your nose from getting plugged up. I use it on my shoulders and my legs and back and I never get a stuffed up nose. LOL.
Seriously it gives minimum relief but any relief is better than nothing. Right?
-
How are you feeling today? Any better at all? Gosh, sciatica is hard to handle because there is not much that gives relief. And it is my feeling that Tylenol might work better if stuck nearby where the pain has originated.
-
I did get some sleep finally... From like 2AM to 4AM. (Then I turned on every ridiculous TV channel and turned up the heating pad until I nodded off again about 6 AM. Nothing going today. I'm just resting. YAY! I hope you are too!
-
Tylenol has hardly ever touched my pain, but my liver wont' tolerate Motrin and I begged off the Percocet. I'm laying low and using a heating pad... A good day to rest and relax!

Your poem shows beautifully why Jesus came-that we might follow Him as we give Him our our problems and concerns. This is a beautiful reminder for Christmas that He came and died and rose again so we can follow Him.

A very strong post, especially for this time of year. I enjoyed how you went from past to present. You seemed to have found the prefect artwork. I often wonder how people who lack faith get through life's difficulties. Bill

You have written a great truth in revealing that Jesus really does want to carry all our baggage. The cost is merely to believe it and hand everything over. I love the picture you are using to accompany this excellent poem. It is a striking posting that I hope will have some hurting FS readers taking notice and responding to the invitation Christ offers.
Have a wonderful Christmas, Debi. I wish you peace and joy now and for eternity. X X Lily
