When my wife was dying in thew hospital, I had pneumonia and other infections. I feel so badly for Sandra. I can tell you personally, it can be painful and is a terrible affliction. At this time of year, it is doubly excruciating. Thank you for alerting us so poetically.

You know how awful it feels. I'm so sorry that you were on the edge of death yourself and could do nothing for your wife. It was a horrible time for you - was it two years ago? May the New Year bring you Joy and Health! Hugs!

Yes, it was January 31, 2022, just after her birthday on January 17.

It's always a pleasure to read whatever you post, and this seems to have a paragraph of particulars, not that I know what any of them mean. And thanks for the heads up about Sandra. I wouldn't have had any idea she is sick without you. I hope she gets well soon!

Praying now, Thank you for the beautiful poem and the focus on the Lord, our Healer, our Comforter, our Hope, and our Peace. I'm reminded the Lord is All Sufficient, All Powerful, Sovereign, Merciful, Kind, and Loving. In Him we trust for ourselves and our loved ones.
I'm asking the Lord to show all these wonderful things to our dear friend now. In Jesus' powerful, mighty name, Amen!

When someone you truly care about is hurting you have to a bit of their pain as well. I truly care about dear Sandra and it pains me to learn about her current suffering. I too have had issues involving breathing difficulties. Few things can be as disturbing as struggling to breathe. After all the ability to breathe is crucial to the sustaining of life. I pray that God will heal our dear sister completely and return her to those of us who truly love her, the FanStory family.

I didn't know about Sandra being in the hospital. She's already been through so much with the death of her brother. Excellent job with the Rondelet format. The rhyme is smoothly done and the repeating line is beautiful. A wonderful prayer for Sandra. judi

I am so sorry to hear this, Helen. Thank you for sharing it. You wrote a lovely prayer for her. I pray for those of us on this site every night. This is hard to write a review because she has gone through so much. On the brighter side, I think her body needs a lot of rest and time to heal.
Thank you for caring. It means a lot to me.

I apologize for not reviewing all the poetry posted. Though I may appreciate them, I don't want to embarrass myself, or diminish the work with some inane trite that I may write.
This one, while I won't begin to pretend that I understand 'tetra-syllabic or dimeter', rings truth and care. Thank you for posting your heartfelt prayer.
