Thank you, Debi for this tribute to a great servant of the people of America. Seems to me that we're thinking of a most heroic character here.
Nearly every job he ever did came with enormous risk.
And twenty-three grandchildren?! I would need the 'sturdiest nerves' and a great deal of energy to keep up with them!
I watched the videos too. Wish I had those karate skills! Now, just walking is an achievement!

Thanks so much Helen, for such a kind review. I just found out that Willie is sick with something that has him down on his back, which is hurting bad. So I wish I knew if there was someone there taking care of him. I only talked to him once but I am really concerned.

Do you think I should go to Tom with this about Willie?
Something I forgot to mention was that when I was on his site the first day. looking.for any signs of him, I noticed his two last posts were identical? Might have been accidental thinking it didn't work so he tried again.
But I do know he's mixed up cause even tho I told him how to find his poem he says he can't find it. That was two days ago.

LOL, it is a long story, Carol, but the next day after I wrote this to you, I tried a few more times to get a hold of him and got so worried that I ended up calling the Meridian Police in Idaho. All I had was his birthday, city and state. And within a half hour, Willie messaged me and said he was doing better. But he wasn't upset or anything. I think more shocked that anyone would do that. If I hadn't and feeling the way I was and something would have happened to him, I would have never forgiven myself. I guess after waiting too long to call the cops in Texas when I knew there was something wrong when Jan wasn't in touch, it really got to me. So I am so happy to report that he is fine and he says he was impressed that anyone cared that much. I think we all do and I just wasn't sure if he lived alone or what. But I guess he is fine now.
