Excellent! Beautifully told and a joy to read! Loved the way your verse started with his ho, ho, ho. And then the story that evolved in this humorous account of conflict between Santa and his team. Glad to read that everything's now sorted and they're all back on the job! Good luck! Debbie

This is a fun story poem for Christmas and told a believable situation for poor old Santa with striking elves and unhappy reindeer. Hopefully, the Christmas will be in July when it's really winter in the southern hemisphere. Best wishes in the contest!

This did make me smile. Yes, it does seem that one person does get all the praise at Christmas, when there are lots of other people who put in a lot of effort as well. A well written piece. I enjoyed reading it.

Christmas in July? Now you're talking! It should be all year round. For some reason, people are nicer at Christmas than at any other time of year! Loved the ending!

Oh, no, no, no! I was certain I could count on him this year because my list is long. Hopefully he'll make an exception for me. The weather here in Florida is good, so I'm holding on.
