I am well pleased that Emma has not allowed her conflicting thoughts an emotions block her from seeing how much Seth cares for her. I have every confidence that the two of them will eventually get to the place they both desire to be in. As for Peggy Barton, I hope the judge throws the book, any book at her and hit her squarely in the face.

LOL We will see what happens to Peggy. I think it may be a fair punishment, but not exactly what we all want. Thank you for the kind review.

Emma's a very complicated character, it will be really tough for Seth, she's seems bereft of any logic at all, a young friend of mine had to ditch a very needy girl, very similar to Emma, it was affecting his future studies, he's studying for a PHD, well done, blessings Roy
Typo : (Officers this happens to go to counseling) ?

Things seem to be working for the good with this couple. It was good for her to learn about her mother. It will be something to measure the distance from corruption to living peaceful. Good one. Barb.

I like long writing. And your story is still good and strong. We need to know more about Mickey Casey.
Could Peggy be involved at all? I hope you had a good thanks giving. Karen

We will find out more about Micky Casey maybe, next week or the following week or the following week for sure. I can't remember where I split that chapter. Thank you for the kind review.

These two people have had a lot to deal with and you have handled the situation between them delicately and cleverly and we can feel the emotions on both sides, a sensitive and touching chapter Barbara, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

We learned a lot in this chapter and came oh so close to that first kiss. Darn!

With all the bad things that have happened to her recently, Emma seems quite insecure and continues to misread Seth who keeps having to explain himself to her. I guess he could afford to be more expressive too about his feelings and not try to suppress them so much, or they wouldn't have so many misunderstandings. I can't wait for the day when they can express their feelings honestly and not hold back with each other. You are torturing us, Barbara!

threw her around his neck. -- This should either be "threw up around his neck" or "threw her arms around his neck" (probably the latter :) )

her last doze of antibiotics - "dose"

"You just got out of the hospital you shouldn't go in tomorrow." - Probably should use a semicolon after "hospital."

"Image that." - Imagine

"I need be there for Ms. Barton's arraignment - "to be there"

This is another excellent. It's too bad all relationships can't talk it out. I hope you had fun with your granddaughters. There is one tiny edit, I think. You spelled dose of medicine doze. Have a blessed day.

Emma is always jumping to conclusions that Seth might only see her someone he responsible for because he is a cop. It is apparent he cares about her and everyone seems to seem but Emma. Now, I think she is beginning to get it. Your characters don't trust love that comes too quickly. That is wise. I'm enjoyed this story.

Thank you for the kind review. I am wondering if Emma feels maybe she's not worthy of Seth. HMM

Hi Barbara, I certainly didn't come across any errors. Seth and Emma continue to have their differences, but they also seem to overcome them.
Now, I won't be posting today but tomorrow. I had to go to a funeral. It's all so sad. A good
friend of mine died late Friday night of a sudden heart attack. He was only 55 leaving behind a wife and 5 young children. Here in Spain you get buried within 24 -36 hours after death.
So my new chapter will be out tomorrow. Ulla xcx

They were just millimeters away from kissing. Soooo close. I'm glad you recapped the other things the assailant did. I had forgotten about the emptied gas tank. Great installment. Gretchen

Thank you for the kind review. Yes, I felt it needed to be recapped. The novel isn't that long but when I only post once a week and then split chapters it seems like forever.
