An excellent and imaginatively narrated story with a strong message of believing in the heart of a person and not judging them from what you see on the surface. This man was an impressive hero who proved his worth over and over again. Thanks for sharing, Terry. Debbie

This was a very creative and delightful story. Here I thought all Siamese cats were oriental, but this French speaking cat claims to be Arapaho. I believe she may be a bit more educated that most of the cats on this site. She may be to literate to associate with them.

I love Breakfast at Tiffany's and Audrey Hepburn. Obviously, Holly Number 27 has a lot of class. In addition, I am getting my new iPhone 15 Pro this coming Tuesday, and Jessie--my calico--is a rescue. Back in the 1960s I had Johnny Horton's record album of mountain men songs. I wish I still had it.

For these reasons, and because your positive story is fabulous and instructional, I am very happy to be reading and reviewing it. Smiles, Lily

Lily, Thank you for the six stars. When I met my wife, it was through her cat at the time, Holly. She was named after Audrey's character. I did get an iPhone 15 Pro, a few weeks ago. I remember Johnny Horton. Terry.

I still recall the aroma of how a better cognac would fill my nose, but wo' that was long ago (1983) as I foregoed (sic) alcohol. Holly had a taste for fine wine. Maybe she knew Remy Martin, or better yet Jerimiah Johnson. Their paths must have crossed.
Well told story to enjoy,

Good old Kit Carson, gosh have not heard that name in years.... And now I do wonder why I even knew his name to begin with.

Excellent story. I especially like the historical aspect.
Have you ever read 'Blood and Thunder' by Hampton Sides?
It's the best account of Kit Carson I've ever seen.
Best wishes.

You and your cat are excellent storytellers. Holly earned her decorated Christmas tree by telling you a story about Kit Carson who was an Indian fighter and guide to all who traveled out west in those days when one needed a guide to find their way through the neck in the woods of Texas.
I enjoyed the Christmas story, Terry.
You really get caught up in the holiday spirit don't you, my friend?
That's to be expected since Zoe was into it as well back when you celebrated Christmas together.
Merry Christmas, Terry!
Jesse

Yes, I remember Kit Carson who was part of my reading mainly fiction, but I did know he was a real character, like Buffalo Bill, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, they have been fanaticised a lot, but of course you've proven that he was a bit of a hero. Beautifully written, blessings Roy

I love this and you must have had some of this written at an earlier date because for some reason it is sounding very familiar to me. Like maybe you showed me part of it before. I loved it then, and I do still love it.

How cool is that to relate this to the true story of Jesus and also to have it told by Holly, your cat. Is Holly real or did you just name one for the story? Regardless, the story is wonderful. Loved it.

Hey did you get that new 15 phone from Verizon? The one they were offering for free with a trade in? Good deal, huh?

Anyway, I loved the whole story, but my favorite is the last part is the part of the creator and also where you find out that Holly is from a long line of Holly's at 27th place, She is a cool cat!!! And a terrific story. Great job, Holly and Terry!!!!

Debi, thank you for the six stars. I did do most of the work on the story a couple of months ago. I think I told you about what I was working on.

I bought the iPhone 15 from Apple and gave my 14 Pro Max to a nephew. I thought the max to was too big, didn't fit in my pockets. Terry.

It was tongue in cheek but still darn good. A very good Christmas story. Good story.

Send out this notice to everyone you can. Jesse James Doty is going under the knife at 1pm Monday. The operation is on his neck. Dangerous. Please encourage others to pray or send good wishes if you can. They are trying to strengthen his neck so he will have less pain. Pass this along please. You can copy this and add it to you messages.
