Yes, friends is putting it mildly from what little I've picked up on. LOL. Sometimes we tell ourselves things that we know aren't exactly true. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't notice anything that needed correcting here, Barbara. Your story continues with Emma being closely guarded and cared for. The conversation between Emma and George goes well. He is obviously very anxious to settle the costs himself due to Marc's record but Emma will only accept a replacement for the car, no additional costs. Thanks for sharing your fine story. Take care Debbie

I love the closing line. It was exactly what I was thinking at that point.
Great job building the tension. Emma is warned to watch what and how she says things. Rich daddy wants to keep his son out of trouble so he is willing to pay expenses. He has to admire that Emma is not taking advantage of him and only wants what is fair. Too bad his son isn't like that and never will be with his dad always bailing him out.
It's good you remind us how long Seth and Emma have known each other. It seems longer, probably because they fit so well together.
Extra word in this sentence:
I'll to go back tomorrow."

I like the way she handled herself with George Elliot. I especially like how she quickly corrected statements he made about her relationship with Seth. I also liked how she displayed that she was not greedy by rejecting what must have been flashy, shiny and more expensive cars Mr. Elliot offered her. Obviously, Emma is no push over, easily distracted by greed or envy.

Good story. Clean and interesting. So the old boy wishes to settle things privately? Hope she gets a good car that she can pay for the insurance. Like said, it is high.
