It's a nice piece of poetry having PERFECTLY matching the theme phraseology, ENCHANTING flow throughout from the beginning up to the end with LOVELY rhyming scheme, and BEAUTIFULLY depicting its theme.
Its PRESENTATION, and the last stanza are particularly noteworthy.

Every so often I get surprised and see someone other than "easy everett" at the top of the poetry list. This one was very nice and I have no criticisms, as I find poetry difficult myself. I do have a suggestion, but this is YOUR work, not mine. In place of "it's hard to describe" and "I can't tell you", perhaps trying to find descriptive words or phrases to substitute would make it seem more like you are the master of your post.

This is a good mix of artwork and words. The rhythm flows as smoothly as the river. It sounds like a wonderful recurring dream to have. Maybe you should travel to the all the river and ocean meeting places and see how awesome and relaxing they are.

It's a beautiful dream, and if it's a recurring dream, I wonder whether it's a metaphor for something? The concept of fresh water meeting salt water in a place where there is boundless growth and life is a really interesting theme to unpack. Thanks for sharing this.

Well I agree! This is a beautiful dream. In fact you've captured a dream-like quality in your lovely verse which evokes a very calming, meditative feel for the reader. It's as if the whole of nature is at one with itself: there's warmth and an image of that gently flowing and rippling water that provides a fluency throughout your poem. Oh yes, I think all of us have experienced these dreams, because the only way we can truly apprehend them is when we are physically limited by either physical capacities, or economic, I'm glad my wife and I had both, we still have the physical, but not the economic, beautifully written my friend, as always Willie, blessings Roy

I love this picture reminds me of back home where the beautiful wild flowers grow! I loved to sit and just lazily watch the water slowly go by. Even the fish in the water are in no hurry to rush in their way. I can picture it in my mind cause I been there done that also in my dreams. For what its worth dreams do cone true!

This would qualify as a rhymed poem with very loose meter and varying line lengths. Nice share.

The 15 and sixteenth line don't match in syllables. Now that is out of the way, this poem is very well done. The picture compliments your words. The words are magic. I love limericks,myself. And the other day I wrote a haiku. That was amazingly hard for me. I am learning so much here.I am now writing my first series ever. "Alistar Adams". I just posted the prologue, and I hope I don't do too badly. Give it a look see.
