Isn't it awesome to have such a large group of friends on this site? And you're right that you can become attached to people you've never met. Writing is a strong bond between us, but the friendships reach much farther than that. Good post! Blessings. Carol

I liked reading this. We all need to work on making and keeping friends. It is so true that you could have a friend or acquaintance in every country if you stay on this website long enough. Nice post.

Like you Elaine and I have thre friends of forty years standing, and many who have come and gone, some have tragically died, you are one ofbthe memorable ones, always cheerful despite reason to complain, but you prefer the shining sun and laugh at the grey with a definable faith in the one who loved us enough to died for us, beautifully written, a selfless, honouring post, thank you dear friend, blessings Roy

No mom likes you better, none of that. This is a loving family. Haters are identified and either transformed, or ignored to the point of being isolated and exiled to an island of loneliness.

I started laughing at the top..."MUSH WARNING!" maybe that needs to be added to the warnings. And of course, by the time I finished the story, my eyes were misty because you have a unique way to personally connecting with your reader, be it poetry or prose. Exceptionally well done. Terry.

AMEN!!! Yes, we can't help but come attached to the people here. If you don't, then there's something wrong with you. As author's one puts themselves out there, even prose, mostly poets though. We need a friendly safe environment to improve our writing and ourselves.
