What a wonderful tribute. Every day is a day of grace and another day closer to heaven when your washed in the blood. So glad I stumbled upon this and could share in a remembrance of him. My wife is from Texas. I've been on this site off and on for years, so I'm thinking I should know him.

Michael had a unique way with his words...he was a brilliant writer...
I know he is at peace now...he is walking with God..
I just wish he were still here...sigh...

Hi Pam, I live in Illinois...but have known Michael 13 years..
I know Adonna has written a few poems for him...and yes they were close friends...

I didn't know Reconciled at all but I like that name. He was "reconciled" to God through Christ and so he must have been a great brother to you.

for all your wonderful prayers...I know they help me
get through...
I don't understand the loss of so many people I love
dying myself...but I do know God is right here with me...
the truth of His love is not that he a allows bad things to happen...it's His promise that He will be with us when they do...
Michael believed in God/Jesus very strongly...and at one point in his life tried to invite people into the church...
he is how I learned so much about the Bible...by telling me the stories written...
and yes it was sooooooo hot...and Michael wanted to be in it...
I kept the bedroom cool...but he wanted to stay in the living
room...at 85 degrees...and when I touched him...he was freezing...Hospice said it was normal...even though he did say
a couple times...it was getting warm in there...and then went and laid in the comfort of the cool room...but yes it was hot out...
heat indexes from 113-120...I only ran out to get his meds, food, and lots of ice at a little store at the end of his block...
I am doing fine for the most...my son has come a few times to check on me...but I prefer right now to be alone...I'm keeping busy in the house...thinking of taking the car over and washing it...
Helen I know he is with God now...would I prefer him to be here??
yes...but he is in a better place...and he is now at peace...God will watch over him...
well I have to keep moving...later you...love you so...Linda xxoo

I had not read his work for what now is years, I guess. I always remembered his style was unique, requiring several readings to decipher the meaning, or making my own. Fair winds and following seas for Michael.

he was a brilliant writer...and truly had a unique
style of his own...sometimes even I had to read him a
couple times to decipher some of his work...but when I did
it was awesome...he will truly be missed...

I couldn't when I was there...internet
and my phone went crazy...I think it was because of the heat...
my daughter was so worried when I didn't get back to her...
and I couldn't leave Michael...and the neighbors nets went down too...
I remember the poem he wrote you...actually I was going through my poems last night...and read it...
I am so heartbroken...sigh...
