Thank you for sharing this with us. I did enjoy reading, but I did struggle keeping the characters straight. I'm sorry. It may have just been me. I am still not sure who the brothers are or who's in who's family.

Thanks for reading, and that stars! Yes, I struggled with this story for a long time, and my usual editor was indisposed, so I had to wing it.
The characters are taken through a lot of flashbacks and transitions, so difficult to follow.

I enjoyed very much, it was brilliantly written, except yes that shift to the past after reading the letter seemed a bit odd to begin with. But it made me sad that some of this came from your own life, it means you must have seen serious sadness I think. kay
PS I think in the section describing the school fight there is a mistake of name at the end.
