Wow. This says a lot in ten words and it rhymes. Good job. I am in awe of anyone who attempts, let alone succeeds in expressing so much in such few words. You did it. You are awesome.

Now this is spooky. Sleep will be a long time coming and tossing and turning will give us a good workout when those unreconciled sins show up to haunt us.
Excellent presentation. Your color scheme and the artwork enhance the message in your verse. Perfect word count and well chosen words. Your message is concise and flows well.
Best of luck in the contest.

This really resonated with me. Simply because when the day winds down that's when you start to think. No distractions or things to interrupt the flow of thoughts. Not just bad thoughts either. I really liked the simplicity and concise poem. Gretchen

Great pairing of poem with image... It's true that sinful souls bear darker shadows in the night...
Best to atone and step into the light!

Thank you T for such a kind review and comments. You are so right, that we must look for the light and take care of them before they look like this snake coming down the steps of the upstairs bedrooms. Thanks again dear friend.

Well done. I enjoyed reading your piece and the wisdom you provided in it. And I believe you are right if we do not give our sins to God then we will be miserable. Great work with this wonderful poem.
