-Nice image and presentation.
-You wrote a good cinquain with a good topic.
-Effective imagery creates a peaceful mood and scene.
-You also show your appreciation for nature and
how it can soothe our souls.
-A good entry; good luck.

I am most assuredly not any kind of expert on poetry, and I had to read up on what a Cinquain poem is all about. Now informed, I think you have written a wonderful poem. Your wonderful words have created a picture in my mind. Excellent work. Terry.

Yep I think you're absolutely correct Jim, the thought of purity comes to mind when one thinks of creation, except fo man man repeatedly interfering with the divine, God is still keeping it from crashing, beautifully written cinquain Jim, good luck, blessings Roy

I love this one! The Cinquain is a beautiful, simple, yet challenging format, and you've made it your own with this piece. Your artwork is perfect. The only thing I'd throw in there, and you're the poet so this is just a side note, is that your poem is a full sentence, and I'd be tempted to treat it that way with a period and maybe even a comma after 'times' and 'majesty. Again, just an opinion. Great work, and I wish you luck in the contest. (But not too much luck; I might just be throwing my hat in that ring myself, lol!)

There is something about getting off the beaten path that cleanses our senses and opens our hearts and minds to new possibilities... A very vell constructed cinquain that has me pining for spring!

Hello, JLR!
Your poem and photograph is a playbook right outside my window!
Your prescription for soothing souls is "right up my alley!"
I would cease to exist if I couldn't breathe in Mother Nature's beauty every day...
Thank you for sharing!

A simple but effective poem which works very well with the lovely illustration. The overall presentation supports the theme that nothing can rival natural beauty!

Reading your poem makes me feel like I am in its accompanying picture, breathing in the majestic beauty all around me. Mother Nature does indeed soothe souls. Thanks so much for sharing, and best wishes in the contest.

We seem to spend time counting to determine the "value" of something, yet we take our countless breaths for granted. You remind us, with this poem, that each breath brings us into the presence of the Divine, where are souls find peace. This is a beautiful contest entry.
