Hi!
I like this poem it's got a very open and optimistic feeling. I like that you said, "Faith knows not what the future holds" it helps you to know that no matter what has happened in your life thus far, there's always time for change... time to make things better.

Dear Susan, Thank you so much for your beautiful review and positive rating. We're learning all the time--mainly though our mistakes, it seems, but having the faith to step out and change always seems to bear good fruit.

I have faith in family and in myself, but I'm still working on trusting in God. I have a son with a mental illness and I wonder why God allows this to happen. This is a beautifully written poem, best of luck in the contest. :)

Thank you so much for your review and rating. Some of the world's greatest achievements have been accomplished by people with disabilities of some kind and, perhaps, you'll be able to look back and see what God has done through your son in both your own life and his in the future. I pray you'll not let this illness keep you from Jesus but keep you close to him, instead, as He loves you so much!

I prefer to have faith even when things are going smoothly. God will guide us. We just need to allow Him. He also doesn't promise us a life without tough times, just that He will be by our side. I can't imagine going through life without Him. Thank you for sharing this faith contest poem with us. I want to wish you the best of luck with the contest.

Thank you so much for your review. The photo was taken at Thingvellir, in Iceland, where the American and European tectonic plates are tearing apart. It's very rough and rugged--but our granddaughter was determined. She had the faith for it!

This is an extensive poem about faith that reads well. The rhyming is good apart from the fact that you have used 'above' and 'love' twice and 'see' twice as well. Also, you mention in your first stanza that faith gives you power and then you mention the same thing again in the second stanza - I would have tried to avoid this repetition if I could.
The rhythm is this poem is good though so good luck with it
