-Nice artwork, Paul.
-You wrote a good limerick with
effective imagery and rhyme.
-Good opening lines establish the premise.
-The middle line is like a pivot linking
the beginning and end together.
-Good concluding lines show that
Santa might have some difficulties
without the help of Rudolph.
-A good entry; good luck in the contest.

Not only is this a successful limerick, it is delightful, fun, and filled with magic as a Christmas poem should be. Good luck with the contest. Merry Christmas.

A truly delightful and fun limerick. It should be a contender in the Holiday Limerick Contest.
It has a sing/song reading that I would guess kids would enjoy. I know I did.
Best wishes for a Merry Christmas.

Thanks, Mary. Let's not tell the kids about this dilemma and hope for the best.

Oh no! The kids will be in such distress! Maybe Santa can order something from Amazon and rig up some other reindeer's nose to light the way. Thanks so much for sharing, and good luck in the contest.

Thanks, Faith. That Amazon idea is a good one. I'll forward that on to Santa.

Paul, what a fun little ditty you have posted. Yes many a child would be floundering should Christmas gifting be shelved for a whole season but then again perhaps more focus might be spent toward the real reason for the season! Good job!

Thanks for the review. You are right about making sure the children know the real reason for Christmas.

This was a fun limerick for the contest, Paul. I think a lot of parents will use this as an excuse why Father Christmas couldn't come to their homes. I love the cartoon picture you've used, it's perfect! Well done and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra

This is a great limerick that highlights a possible problem with Christmas this year. The rhyming is good throughout as is the rhythm. I think that if Rudolph had a cold, his nose might just get redder.
Good luck with it
Celyn

Hi Paul, Poor Santa, poor Rudolph, and poor Christmas for that matter. It's a great little Limerick for the contest. I wish you the best of luck. Ulla:)))

An excellent limerick, Paul. It is in perfect limerick rhythm and has rhymes in all the right places. It was funny as well, another plus. Good luck in the contest. I think this will do well.

Thanks, Adonna. I thought I would try a clean limerick for a change.
