This is a wonderful example of Mike's work. It's sad to read this and to know he will no longer be here to share more of his wonderful works. It's only fitting that one of his last poems would be about poetry. Rest in Peace you gifted writer. You will be missed.

As always, your words were well thought out. There was smooth f
flow, great rhymes and imagery, and a true message. I liked the

This verse was a joy to read.
"A poet's ink," is noteworthy.
The ink flows on the paper through the pen,
as an extension of the poet's hand,
an extension of the poet's soul.
The metre creates a musical quality, a sing- song melody.
The rhymes glide without force.

Karenina, this is a wonderful tribute to Mike to promote one of his poems published before his passing. What greater honour can there be than a tribute in his own words?
I wonder if it's possible for Tom to move this to the book Dolly created to give the context.
This is a fine example of Mike's contributions to the community. He will be sorely missed.
