I really enjoyed this Quatern and felt it really highlights just how many of our questions go unasked and/or unanswered.
In our-fast paced modern world mankind we are slaves to time and often live by the clock instead of with and within the world around us and our fellow man.

I think the answers are quite plain:
God's precious man is (sadly) vain
and your poetic way with words
just shows us we are 'for the birds',
and yet, God loves us anyway
and so I try to start my day
remembering and giving praise
to One who measures all my days.

I like this poem. It feels like a sequel to the song "Blowin' in the Wind." And it has every bit of the same kind of lyrical quality. I guess for Christians or believers in general, the question "How many days will God refrain," will seem especially weighty.

Yes, we humans ask all these things. Some things are knowable and some things God tells us that it is not for us to know and we just have to believe and trust in Him. I was thinking about much the same things today. Well written quatern.
