I thought your refrain was particularly lyrical. Six quatrains rhymed and metered here that made Sunday evening in the United States calmer. I only noticed the tiniest of fixes: a if your plenty turned to lack.
I think you meant: and if your plenty turned to lack
or else
as if your plenty turned to lack.
Nice post.

Oh, yes! My hiding place in the figurative and actual storms of life, my Lord Jesus Christ! My, how I have taken refuge there lately. I'm sure you do too. Thank you for the encouraging words.
Sending you my best today as always,

Very well written. For some reason, the first paragraph reminded me of Jonah. I think we all feel a lot of this at different points in our lives.
Well done. Keep up the good work.

Loved your poem, Roy! And it speaks to us about the restoration of relationships. It's hard between humans. But because Jesus restored our relationship with Him, He will help us mend relationships with others.

I thought this was a beautiful poem. I could almost hear it being sung by the choir in church. The flow of your poem is excellent. A wonderful rhyme scheme. A beautiful read.
