A lovely poem Barbara. Your imagery is profound. I am headed off to a funeral in a few minutes for a woman who was greatly loved in our community. She would have enjoyed reading your poem as well.

I concur with your thoughts shared herein. May we still be on similar pages after the veil is lifted and we move on to wherever it is we ??earn??. Not that we can buy a celestial space. If deserved, it would come naturally. Being with God cannot be bought.

You speak powerfully of how our emotions can ravage us and show how the most frustrating aspect of all is helplessness. We see things slipping and fading, and cannot fight them. Very well written.
