I know not why you have taken the assignment to make public interviews with a and b and c, etc. To find out the history of one may cure one's curiosity but to make public may only have limited appeal. Is there a book to be published? And who would purchase such a book? This is well written, and I read it through. G is an interesting person.

Tom, he is indeed an interesting guy and a good writer. I think that was the point. Thank you for reading. Terry.

This is a great interview. I think two people should be rated for these pieces. You for the questions you choose and putting it together, and the interviewee for the care they take in answering, their honesty and letting us peek into their lives. I learnt a lot from this one (I wasn't surprised), and just to give you both a laugh, my funniest misconception was giraffmang - I thought it was a mythical creature Gareth had come across in his reading... This is an entertaining and enjoyable interview. I love how you space the paragraphs this makes it easier to read.
The Giraffmang is a strange man but an interesting one at that.
The best part is his definition of writing and his skill of avoiding the subject when he answers the questions you ask him.
I love your writing style now! You have become a wonderful writer when it comes to your interviews!
You have come a long way, baby! haha!
Thanks for the interview!!!

Growing up in Belfast amid the troubles must have been a huge challenge as every day is impacted by the terror on the streets, this did overspill into my life with the Birmingham pub bombings which I shall never forget during the 1970s. I enjoyed learning about his writer and his history Terry and you asked all the right questions here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This was a very interesting interview with G. My favourite story of his is Erica of Marlybone. He certainly had a different start to life at that time in Northern Ireland. Enjoyable read Terry.
Cheers

I thought Gareth was still living in England, like Lee and Jay, Gareth is a little off centre, although I'm not sure about sci fi, I was a sci fi freak when I was younger, but I don't think I'm imaginative enough, beautifully interviewed. Very clever doing this, I know them all well, not as friends, but writers, well done, blessings Roy

Hi Terry,
man, but he likes to talk! I've heard he's even worse in real life, just ask his wife!
Good questions directed, relevant and specific, that's the skill of a good interviewer, stay away from the generic.
I hop you keep your review levels up on this one, too.
All the best
G

Gareth, Thank you for doing this! Terry.
Comment from Wendy G
This was a fascinating interview with a most interesting man who speaks clearly and well, and with insight. I enjoyed the whole interview, but I find the part about reviewing particularly important, and relevant. The current culture precludes such reviews unfortunately, but I think it is true that stars should be awarded, not perceived as being subtracted. A simpler solution would be to make four the default rating, and only allocate a certain number of fives - people then would really have to earn five stars with excellence in their writing. Congratulations to Gareth for all his writing successes, and best wishes to him for the international competition.
Thanks for sharing.
Wendy
Paragraph 7: "a common occurrences" - maybe keep it singular.
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

Oh, how I LOVE reading these interviews!! You ask such good questions, Terry (sorry; I know I said that about the Humpwhistle one, too, but if it's true, am I wrong to say so more than once? Besides, it's my birthright as a Jewish Mommie to repeat myself!)
I enjoyed every word of this and learned so much about a member whose pieces I've always found exceptional.
